100 Common Mistakes

1.
Overuse of the word "actually" Actually 너무 많이 쓰지 마세요. 여기 미국애들은 자주 안쓰는데 유학생들은 많이 쓰는 경향이 있어요. 
Actually, I’m Korean.
Actually, I was born in Korea.

Corrected sentence: I’m Korean. 
Well...I'm Korean and...
Let me see...

2. 
I have same bag with you. Same 은 항상 앞에 The 가 붙고 with 대신에 AS 를 써야 합니다. 제가 1년 동안 실수했던 거네요. 
There are two mistakes in the above sentence. 
I live in the same neighborhood with you. 

Corrected sentence: I have THE same bag AS you.
또는 I have the same bag as you do. 
I’m the same age as you are. 

3.
She married with a foreigner. With 를 넣지 마세요. 수동태일 때는 To를 씁니다. 
He got married with a Korean. 
Corrected sentence: She married a foreigner. 
She got married to a foreigner. 

4.
I'm a staff. Staff 는 여러 명이에요. 
He's a staff. 
“This staff is in charge of cleaning the restroom.” 

Corrected sentence: I’m on the staff. 
We have a large staff. 
He’s an employee. 
He’s on the team. How many people are on your staff?

And etc. And 쓰지 마세요. 

Corrected sentence: We need school supplies: pencils, pens, notebooks etc. 
etcetera, etcetera 

6. 
He recommended me to come here. recommend 나 suggest 다음에는 목적어 +to 안되요. that 주어 동사원형으로 쓰세요. 
He suggested me to come here. 

Corrected sentence: He suggested/recommended that I come here. 
He suggested this place to me. 
She recommended that I apply for the job. 
He recommended me for the job. 

7. 
Do you have a company. a 하나로 의미가 완전히 달라집니다. 이 경우는 회사를 의미합니다. 
I have a company. 
Corrected sentence: I have company (I’m with someone) 
I run a company. / I’m the owner of a company. 
How many in your party? 

8.
I like dog 셀 수 있는 명사의 기본형은 s를 붙인다고 생각하세요. 이 경우는 개고기를 의미한다는...;;;
I love puppy 

Corrected sentence: I like dogs. 
I like puppies 
I like Mexican (food). 
I like Chinese. 

I like person (x) 
I like people. 
I like soup. 

9.
Do you know kimchi? 한국어로 알다와 know의 의미에 약간 차이가 있어요. I knew your site last year. 이 경우는 작년에 알았지만 지금은 모른다는 뜻이 되요. 

Corrected sentence: Have you (ever) heard of kimchi? 
Have you tried kimchi? 

Examples 
I know him. 
Do you know his phone number? 
We know burgers!

They were talking each other. 
We were saying hi each other. 
They got made each other. 

Corrected sentence: They were talking to each other. 
I was talking to him. 
How do you communicate with each other?
